Making Christmas more merry!

These busy elves, town clerk Marlene Searle and deputy town clerk Ginger Redden, were grateful for all the gifts and cash donated for the children and families.

Delivering the bags of gifts to Hotchkiss families were EMTs with North Fork Ambulance (left to right) Jared Cantrell, Marvin Gaule, Drew Felix, Cindy Felix, Rick Steckel and Steve Simpson, and from the Hotchkiss Marshal’s Office, Deputies Chad Lloyd and Chris McDonald.

Santa’s helpers gather up the bags of Christmas gifts to deliver. The gifts filled two North Fork ambulances.

For the special deliveries, Santa Claus rode in a North Fork ambulance with the helpful crew of EMTs and deputies.

Children received a visit on Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 from Santa Claus and members of the Hotchkiss Marshal’s Office and the North Fork Ambulance Association. Christmas was all the more merry and bright for deserving families in and around Hotchkiss because of this annual event. Fourteen families and 31 children received clothing, coats, gloves, hats, toys and necessities. The staff at town hall and the public works department participated in receiving donated gifts and cash from the public. The elves wish to thank those who made sure there was plenty of gifts for everyone. Some came back more than once with gifts.
